Weekdays 9am-2pm

Hey y’all! I’m excited to re-join the team at the station where my radio career began some years back… If you’re wondering about me, well, what you see is what you get. I’m a Christian, that’s the most important part of my life. I was saved once and for all before my 33rd birthday. Currently, I’m a member of Woodburn Baptist Church, in Woodburn, KY.

Kentucky born and raised in Lewisburg! I grew up farming with my dad and graduated from Logan County High School. Every kid should have to do farm work, everything else seems pretty easy after the experience. I love this area! I’ve never lived more than hour away from my momma and it’s intentional. Family is so important and I’m blessed with a great bunch of people.

I started in radio as a Broadcasting Major at WKU and worked part time at New Rock 92 (campus station), WRUS AM 610 and The Beaver 96.7, 94.1 and 100.3. It has been a dream come true for me to work at the Beaver, the station I listened to growing up. Scooter Davis hired me as a part timer in 1995 and I would fill in wherever needed. And I’m so glad Scooter knew I was returning and that I have his seal of approval to be here! In 2000, I started doing radio full time, working nights, from there to afternoons and finally mornings in 2001 for a station in Western KY. It’s humbling when listeners share how we’ve made a positive impact on their life. Whether you’re laughing with us or at us, you’re having fun and relying on us for the info you need to start your day and I’m grateful for it!

Other info:

I’m married to an amazing man, Warren.  Took me awhile to find him but the Lord sure has blessed us.

I graduated from Western Kentucky University with a degree in Broadcasting and minors in Psychology and Criminology

I love animals and have two spoiled cats at home. If I see you out with a critter, chances are I’m going to want to pet said critter.

Keeping a positive attitude is a must and it’s something that takes practice. Prayers welcome!

Charities that are important to me: Room in the Inn, Manna Café for the Homeless, St Jude, Lottie Moon Ministries, Hope Pregnancy Center, Camp Rainbow, Compassion International,  and Back 2 Back Foundation.

For Fun: Grand Ole Opry, retail therapy, Bible studies, cooking, yoga and spending time with family, pets and friends.

What else? If not doing this, I would be doing mission work full time or law enforcement or driving stunt cars.
